Point God Academy operates multiple Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball teams that compete at the highest level across various states. These teams were established in response to a strong demand within our community for structured athletic opportunities. However, our focus extends beyond sports alone; we recognize the transformative power of team sports in providing structure, stability, and safety to our youth. While basketball remains a passion, our commitment lies equally in facilitating academic success.

In line with this vision, Point God offers a comprehensive College Prep Program, which has experienced remarkable growth and success since its inception. We believe in preparing our students holistically for their future endeavors, starting from high school age. Through our College Prep Program, students receive tailored support to navigate the complexities of college and university preparation, ensuring they are well-equipped for the next stage of their educational journey.
Acknowledging that life transitions can be daunting, we prioritize early intervention and support to empower our youth at every step. History
Point God Academy traces its roots back to 2019, emerging from a heartfelt endeavor to support a young individual whose aspiration was to pursue a basketball career. This individual stood out not only as a star athlete on the basketball court but also as a top academic performer with a stellar 4.0 GPA. Recognizing his potential, we embarked on a mission to assist him in securing a full college scholarship.

Our initial efforts involved reaching out to college coaches, meticulously documenting his workouts, and disseminating his profile in pursuit of scholarship opportunities. Despite our dedication, the response was not as fruitful as we had hoped. Undeterred, we shifted our approach, gathering a group of talented young individuals to form a team and compete in tournaments. This decision not only provided direct access to coaching but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and shared ambition among the players.
As we witnessed the transformative impact of our efforts, we expanded our vision beyond individual scholarships. We pondered how we could empower these aspiring athletes to reach higher levels of achievement, marrying their passion for sports with the invaluable pursuit of education. This holistic approach to athletic and academic development garnered the attention of other students and their parents, sparking a growing interest in our initiative.
